Today my best friend/sister Shelly-Ann Fung celebrates her 18th birthday. If you're familiar with me, you'll know she's my favourite person who I spend most of my time with, I can tell her anything, and she's always there for me. Sadly, Shelz migrated from Jamaica to England 8 months ago & so we aren't able to celebrate her special day together. However, I wish for her a FABULOUS day with her family & friends, and I hope she enjoys every second of it. I know she definitely will ! When we meet up again, we'll definitely have a BLAST !

It's not easy learning to love yourself. Every morning we wake up, look in the mirror, & criticize ourselves. We hate our hair, nose, eyes, body, & whatever else we find ! We think that, if we're not looking like models we see in fashion magazines, we're not beautiful. We're criticized by others. We're called ugly. We're called fat. We're told that we don't have the perfect body. So what is there to love after all this? The answer is EVERYTHING ! We're fearfully & wonderfully made by our Creator. We're all beautiful regardless of what anyone else says. Flaws & all.




Remember too, that the most important relationship you will ever have is the one you have with yourself. Tell yourself everyday that "I'm beautiful!". Stop comparing yourself to others. Refuse to criticize yourself. Accept yourself exactly as you are. Appreciate the many beautiful features you possess. Think positive things. Do what makes you happy. Have fun. Believe in yourself.
